Introducing the Angada blog

Field notes on AI code review, codebase understanding, and keeping pull requests moving, from the team building Angada.

Engineering at Angada

1 min read@_iamkaustavGitHub

Angada reviews pull requests and writes source-linked documentation for teams shipping on GitHub. This blog is where we explain how that work is done, what we learn along the way, and where we think code review is heading.

What we will write about

  • AI code review in practice. How a review is assembled from the diff, the surrounding code, and your repository's own conventions, and where it still needs a human.
  • Understanding a codebase. How AI Wiki turns source into documentation that cites the lines it was written from.
  • Keeping pull requests moving. What makes a pull request wait, and what a team can do about it.

What we will not write about

We will not publish rankings of tools we have not run, or numbers we cannot show our working for. When a post makes a claim about Angada, it links to the documentation or the changelog entry that backs it.

Following along

Subscribe to the RSS feed for new posts. Product releases continue to land in the changelog, and the documentation covers how each feature works.

If there is something you want us to dig into, write to [email protected].
